 MEMBERSHIP BREAKDOWN

Salon/Spa Membership: Eligible members are licensed salons and spas statewide. One designee of this membership may serve on FAB’s Board of Directors if appointed by the Executive Board. All employees (not booth renters) are entitled to the benefits of the association but may not serve on the BOD unless they are the one designee of the licensed member as appointed by the Executive Board.


Premier Educational Institute Membership: Eligible members are licensed schools statewide, both public and private. One designee of this membership level may serve on FAB’s BOD if appointed by the Executive Board. All employees are entitled to the benefits of the association but may not serve on the BOD unless they are the one designee of the licensed member as appointed by the Executive Board. Students (100 per year) attending a school that has joined at this level enjoy member benefits and may participate in the service of application processing for initial licensing by the state board. No students may participate on the BOD.


Regular Educational Institute Membership: Eligible members are licensed schools statewide, both public and private. One designee of this membership level may serve on FAB’s BOD if appointed by the Executive Board. All employees are entitled to the benefits of the association but may not serve on the BOD unless they are the one designee of the licensed member, as appointed by the Executive Board. Students must pay individual membership fees for benefits.


Student Membership (Individuals): Includes selected benefits with no ability to serve on the BOD.


Allied Membership: Includes marketing opportunities and participation in board meetings. Allied members may serve on the Allied Member Council but do not have voting rights.
